KK8 Responsible Gaming — Play Safely

kk8 responsible gaming — keeping play as entertainment. Setting limits, recognising the warning signs, and where to get support in Bangladesh.
The basic principles
- Betting isn't a way to earn money. No strategy can guarantee a profit over the long run.
- Only use money you can afford to lose. Never rent, school or medical money.
- Don't borrow to play. Betting with borrowed money is the fastest way to lose.
- Not under 18. That's essential both legally and ethically.
Setting limits
The most effective step is to set limits before you play, not in the middle of it. Three kinds of limit work:
- A money limit — write down the most you'll spend in a week or a month, in advance.
- A time limit — how long one session lasts. Set an alarm.
- A loss limit — lose a set amount and you stop for the day. This is the most important one.
Warning signs
If you see any one of these in yourself, it's time to take a break:
- You play again to win back what you lost
- You hide how much you play from family or friends
- You borrow money or sell things to play
- It's affecting your work, studies or relationships
- You feel restless or irritable when you're not playing
- You keep breaking the limits you set yourself
Support in Bangladesh
Kaan Pete Roi
Bangladesh's emotional-support and crisis helpline
If gambling is causing you worry, stress or low mood, talking helps. Asking for help isn't a weakness — it's the first step to taking back control.
If you're worried about someone in your family, you can get in touch in the same way. Talking without blame, and helping with money decisions — those two things work best.
